Faves of the moment

Due to extreme demand (aka two friends), I am posting a “faves of the moment” again.
These are the things that are making my Christmas season the most wonderful time of the year.

1. A Child’s Prayer CD.- This CD is completely different than any Baby Einstien Nighttime lullaby CD you have purchased. This is actually soothing. And is the perfect music to put on at 4 o’clock when things get a little hectic. I give it to all my best friends when they are expecting. It’s the only album I recommend. You can download it on iTunes.
2. Gift bag hanger by The Container Store. Makes organizing all those gift bags SO much easier.
3. ProFlowers. The only online flower store I found to get them there on time and looking beautiful.
4. Ebates. If you shop online, Ebates is great. I get tons of money back.
5. Walmart Site to Store. You purchase what you need online and they send it to your nearest store for zero dollars. This is how I got my 13 foot Christmas Tree without paying a cent of shipping. Great for big kid items as well.
6. Vita-K. I don’t have stretch marks, not because I’ve never been 9 months pregnant. Because I use Vita-K. You can buy it at Walgreens. Trust me. I’ve talked to dermatologists about this.
7. Mrs. Meyers Aromatherapy Countertop Spray. Makes your house smell like a dream AND it makes you feel good because it’s completely environmentally friendly and never tested on animals.
8. Sonoma Eucalyptus Stuffed animals – Adorable sleep therapy stuffed animals. You put them in the microwave for 30 seconds and they give eucalyptus scents off to help children breath and sleep better. Ethan’s doctor gave us two when he had sleep apnea and they are so comforting to both of them, especially when they have the sniffles this time of year.
9. Swiss Low Calorie Hot Chocolate – I can drink as much Hot Chocolate as I want. I love it.
10. Pottery Barn Advent Calendar – So adorable. I made little cards for each day with a Christmas Activity to do so the kids never get bored and I get to plan when we are making Christmas Cookies. Today we are making snowflakes! Also get there Thanksgiving advent. So cute. Each day you find something you are grateful for and put it on a card. Ethan loved it.
11. AcneFree. Just like Proactiv, but much cheaper and at your grocery store.
12. RealSimple Grocery list. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me and my grocery shopping since meal planning.
13. Hello Kitty Humidifier. Makes being sick just a little more fun.
14. Little People Nativity. Perfect easy way for children to learn about the real reason behind Christmas. My kids LOVE it. Get the add on pieces too.
15. Garmin GPS. I swear by this. With all the places you have to go this season, it’s worth every penny.
16. Jell-O Pudding Singles. Sugar free and only sixty calories. Perfect treat for hard days.
17. Bibsters. I’m over cleaning bibs. For less than 3 dollars, I don’t have to wash one bib all month. Love that.
18. Kaboost. These are so much better than high chairs and makes everyone feel like a big kid.
19. Rhodes Rolls. I love my mom’s homemade rolls. There is nothing like them. But Rhodes makes a pretty good ones…and without the work.
20. Earpiece. No longer dorky, this cell phone accessory is a must for every mom I believe.
21. Stouffer’s Family Meals. I don’t like to eat packaged food on a regular basis, but for when a bunch of company stops by just before dinner (which happens more than you think). It’s great to have these on hand. They do taste delicious and they make feeding ten unexpected extra people a joy instead of a stress. I just keep a few in my deep freeze for those moments.
22. Trunk Grocery Organizers. I didn’t know what all the hype was about until I bought them. Bringing in groceries just got so much easier and now everything is not everywhere in my trunk.
