Failed adoption is less than fabulous.
But oh when it succeeds, it is the most beautiful thing…
I’d go through a thousand failed adoptions for these above successes.
To everyone who is in the middle, at the end, right at the beginning, or at the beginning again in growing their beautiful family through adoption or otherwise:
Remember, it’s worth it.

P.S. We haven’t called it quits yet. Our adoption is still unsure. We are still hoping our birthmother will sign but I would be lying if I said the future was better than bleak at this point. We are hoping for the best, but Lee & I are also realists. I’ll (obviously) let you know if we do get baby, but if you don’t hear anything you’ll know what that means. We are completely at peace with it all.
