Chocolate Dipped & Strawberry Sprinkled Fortune Cookies

Who doesn’t love fortune cookies? I love fortune cookies. You love fortune cookies. Everyone loves fortune cookies. And there is no better time of year to make them with Chinese New Year a few days away and Valentines just around the corner. These little sweet treats are so fun and so easy. You are going to love them, almost as much as your friend does when she sees them.

This is all you do:
1. Purchase a box of fortune cookies, two large Symphony candy bars, and some sprinkles (or non-pariels as Martha refers to them, someday we will be able to pronounce non-pariels). We found our fortune cookies at Walmart in the Asian food section.
2. Unwrap and chop up your chocolate. Melt your chocolate using a double boiler.

3. Dip your fortune cookies in chocolate.
4. Sprinkle! Be creative. Try using coconut, nuts, or even crushed peanut butter bars.
5. Set dipped and sprinkled fortune cookies on parchment paper until dry.
6. Once dry, package your fortune cookies in small take out boxes or in a row of cellophane.
7. Add our tag and deliver…or just eat them yourself. Nothing wrong with that.
No Fuss Fabulous Trick: If you do not own a double boiler just use a saucepan and bowl. It works just as well.
