I know that making your own Marshmallows doesn’t sound no fuss. When Annie told me that she was putting it on the blog last week, I was weary. I kept thinking, “Our blog is No Fuss Fabulous. Making marshmallows is complete fuss. She better put it on Fussy Friday..blah blah blah blah blah blah.” BUT THEN I made them myself and she was so right – as most older sisters are about everything. They were so easy and the fact that everyone thinks they are difficult makes them even more fabulous in my book!!! It kind of sounds gourmet snooty when you say, “I make my own marshmallows.” Don’t you agree? And I kind of like the idea of being gourmet snooty. I digress. Needless to say, I made them and I loved it and it was easy and now I want to take them to the next level. But what is the next level?
Of course, Martha Stewart and Disney both had the answer: Bunny Marshmallows!!! There are two versions here. One from our favorite Gourmet Snoot herself, Martha Stewart, that uses homemade marshmallows AND one from Disney that doesn’t require homemade marshmallows. Both are cute as a bunny’s ear. I am actually making both with my kids this evening. I’m going to make the Martha Stewart bunnies while my tots go at it with Dad and the Disney version using the homemade square marshmallows I made this weekend. I’ll let you know how it goes!
