Simple Spring Favor Bags!

With finances tighter than we all would like, party budgets shrink in comparison to yester years. Creativity is the key to the springtime spending blues! You don’t have to purchase expensive favors to make your celebration fabulous. These adorable spring favor bags cost less than five dollars for twelve. Here’s how to make these fun favor bags that are as easy on your budget as they are to make.
You will need:
Green and White Paper Bags
Scissors
Glue Stick
Embellishments (Completely up to you.)

NFF Tip:  I purchased these paper bags in packages of 12 at Michael’s for less than two dollars each!

They would be even cheaper with your 40% off coupon!!
Using your scissors, cut the green paper sack making it look grass- like. If you are feeling like a perfectionist, come over to my house and take a look at my lawn. Real grass is not perfect. At least, that is what I keep telling myself.
Open the bottom half of your green sack.   Glue the bottom of the white sack to the inside of your green sack.

Ta-da!  You are fabulous.
Embellish as you wish.

I used some extra Easter stickers and ribbon I had in my backroom!

A fun activity option at a kids party would be to let the children decorate their own flowers or Easter eggs using crayon. If you are having a jungle party, they could color lions, tigers, and zebras in the grass.  The possibilities are endless.  Fairies dancing in the grass for a Fairy party,  puppies playing for a Puppy Dog party.   You could even  easily switch the green sack to white for snow and use a light blue sack for a winter party!  Either way, you will have plenty of planning time and  party budget left to let your mind dream of the possibilities.

Blog to you soon,
