I miss you.

Dear Mom, Annie, Kristie, Tami, Alison, Katie, Sherral and Grandma –

I miss you.

It’s on days like this that I wish I lived near

and I could just pack up the kids and drive over to Gardiner Village

to meet you all for lunch like we always used to do.

We would buy the kids something at the candy store,

take a million photos, and talk about nothing in particular.

I miss you.

No worries – everything is fabulous here.

I just miss you.

I’ll come home soon

and we’ll watch the kids dance to funny music

and make cookies.
