“At the end of what they thought was a long fruitless day, these men found themselves here where they save two young lives at a time when many thought there was no life left to be saved I fear. Sometimes human endurance and the human spirit are quite something.”
It’s hard for a lot of people to watch the devastation in Haiti right now. But among all the countless images of devastation and the feeling of hopelessness, there is a beaming ray of the human spirit and faith. This video captured it for me. I loved this little boy’s reaction when he was saved after 8 days of being trapped. His response is the embodiment of the human spirit and faith of a new day. I loved it.
