My best friend (who will go by “Shea” on this blog) came to Texas to visit me this past week! It was so fun! She brought her new little angel, Lily Belle. She is the most adorable little baby you have ever seen. She reminds me of a tiny newborn kitty princess. I just love her. LB’s cry is a cross between a baby kitten meow and a fairy scream. I wish I had a recording of it because it seriously is the cutest thing you have ever heard. While Shea was here, we shopped, talked, went to the zoo, and shopped and talked some more. Living in Texas has really made me appreciate my true friends and the fact that distance doesn’t make a difference when it comes true friendship. My bff has been there for me through the tough times (surgeries, adoption, giving up my job, etc.) and through the happy times (babies, marriage, and starting new careers, etc.) True friendship never ends no matter how far apart you are or how complicated life gets!
