With summer (unofficially) here and Fourth of July just around the corner, I am thrilled to begin summer entertaining!!! There is nothing that screams Texas summer more than a neighborhood barbecue. So this morning I began brainstorming ideas for easy summer entertaining. These berry cones are what I call “easy cute.” There is nothing difficult about them. They are simple, but are so charming! You can either make your own paper cones or you can take the no fuss way out like I did and pick up a package of Wilton Petal Cones. I found mine at Walmart in the wedding section for $3.50 this morning. Twelve cones come in a package. You can find them at Michael’s and JoAnn Craft Stores as well.
Fill the cones with berries, grapes, popcorn, roasted mini peppers or anything you would like. You could easily tie a ribbon around each cone and add a little tag to create a simple
favor for any event if you wish.
Honestly, I believe fabulous entertaining is in the details – the final unnecessary touches. These little cones are an easy detail.
