Milo’s One Awesome Carnival!

Milo turned one with a whiz, bang and a pop at his very own personalized party carnival! The party was fun and fabulous for all ages – toddlers to adults.  As we entered into the balloon lined entrance, we knew the party had begun.  milosmontage11

Milo’s mom made festive flags to drape the ceiling.  To make these she used ribbon, triangle cuts of fabric and (we were so proud of her!) a stapler! Ingenious.

Her cute “Happy Birthday” sign was 6″x6″ scrapbook paper bought in a booklet with printed letters on top!

A fun circus-like tent was popped up in the middle of one of the rooms; you can get one like it here.

The kitchen held a carnival-copia of food stuffs from hot dogs and popcorn to cotton candy and cupcakes.  An adorable mini cake was made especially for Milo by Mom – which he dug into after discovering it’s sugar laden delights.milosmontage3

The basement was were the fun was in full swing! The mini “booths” that lined the room were delinated by brightly colored fabric clothespinned to a clothing line that ran around the room! There was a booth for Pin the Tail on the blow-up Donkey, tattoos, Ducks in the Pond, Fish Out of Water, a clown you could get your face taken as, and my very favorite, throw the bean bag into Milo’s Mouth (a blown up picture of Milo with his open mouth cut out)! At each booth the older kids could earn tickets to redeem later for prizes! milosmontage21

All the details came together for a memorable first birthday party. It was fun for all whether one or thirty one! Our tot was asleep before we got home – now that’s a great party! A special thanks to the generous Milo and parents for inviting us and allowing me to post his party. You guys are awesome!
