Frosty the Snowman and Ethan go hand in hand. Ethan is obsessed with Frosty. In fact as I type I am hearing Ethan singing “Frosty the Snowman” in the other room. How appropriate.
Call it a lack of Christmas DVD choices or not being allowed real tv, but it is what it is. Frosty reigns supreme. Santa has nothing on him. So to celebrate Ethan’s potty training success I threw him a Frosty & Friends party with me and little V in attendance this afternoon. We had a blast. It turned out so cute! BUT then the Frosty and Friends celebration took an unexpected turn…
I innocently brought out the blow-up Frosty that Nana sent Ethan last week due to his obsession. And well, at first it was really cute. Ethan and Miss V took turns hugging and kissing Frosty. Ethan sang him a song. It was real special, but then Frosty started to get pushed around. It got a little ugly.
And then a little uglier….
Needless to say, we hope Frosty will be able to make an appearance next year. The autopsy is still unclear. Despite any injuries incurred, we still consider Ethan’s potty-trained Frosty & Friends celebration a huge success.
