I need to recant a statement I made earlier last week. I said, “There are few people I like more in this world then Lydia Menzies from The Party Wagon.” I now believe what I meant to say was, “There are few people I LOVE more in this world then Lydia Menzies from The Party Wagon.” In October, she contacted me to create a paper suite for her Mother’s 70th Birthday party! As I am sure you have gathered by now, I would basically do anything legal to semi-legal for Lydia Menzies. So with Lydia’s direction, I whipped up a paper collection in her mother’s favorite color – yellow. Last week, the photos of the event were featured on Amy Atlas. If you look closely, you can see my paper here and there accenting this gorgeous event Lydia threw for her mother’s 70th! See Lydia’s blog The Party Wagon and below for more details and credits.Event Plannind and Styling: Lydia Menzies Party Stationery: Loralee Lewis Square mini cookies: Better Bit of Butter Cookies Cookies wrapped: JP Creatibles Hand embroidered cocktail napkins: McCall Wilder Designs Yellow and White Fabric: Ruffle Fabric Flowers: Always, Always Florist and La Petite Jardin Cakes: Patrick Dezii at Athens Country Club Wrapped “gifts” on table: Andrew Downs and Co.
