Am I living in 1991?!? This is the decade of the cupcake, Loralee.\u00a0 Cake was so ten years ago.&#8221; <\/em><\/p>\n<p>So without further ado, here are some of the cutest patriotic cupcakes I&#8217;ve seen out there!<\/p>\n<p><strong>P.S.<\/strong> If you want to diss the trend and proclaim your liberty on Independence Day by making a berry flag cake, I am <strong>all<\/strong> for that. More power to you! I will probably end up doing both. Sprinkles have saved me from a myriad of quickly-frosted failures.<br \/>\n<strong>2<\/strong>.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tofuandcupcakes.com\/\"> Tofu and Cupcakes<\/a><br \/>\nI love the one strawberry and flag on top.  So easy and so festive.<br \/>\n<strong>3<\/strong>.<a href=\"http:\/\/recklesschef.net\/2008\/05\/25\/fun-with-marzipan\/\">Marzipan Star Cupcakes by The Reckless Chef<\/a><br \/>\nOkay.  Let&#8217;s be honest with ourselves.  This is a fussy one. But isn&#8217;t it fabulous?  Click on the link if your out to prove yourself! A sprinkle of blueberries and you are set.
