To celebrate our Georgianna’s\u00a0adoption being finalized,\u00a0we\u00a0held a weekend celebration at our home!<\/p>\n

Since Georgianna joined our family at 5 1\/2 years old (and was now 7 1\/2), Mr. Lewis and I wanted to celebrate her in a big way.\u00a0 We wanted it to be an event that was 100% her.\u00a0 In other words, roll out the nail polish, American Girl dolls, and all things fabulous!!!!<\/p>\n

To begin the celebration, we\u00a0invited all the girl cousins over for a\u00a0Slumber & Spa\u00a0party!\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\"LoraleeLewisSlumberParty9\"My\u00a0favorite Aunt Sherral made all the girls matching pink Spa robes!\u00a0 To say they were special would be an understatement.\u00a0\u00a0 I mean look at them.\u00a0 I’ll see what I can do to get you a tutorial, but no promises. <\/em>\u00a0When my mother caught wind that Aunt Sherral was\u00a0sewing homemade spa robes, she\u00a0hit\u00a0her\u00a0Singer with gusto and made\u00a0the girls American doll mini robes that matched Aunt Sherral’s versions\u00a0perfectly!\u00a0 They were super special. (See photos below on post.)\u00a0 <\/em>All I can say, is a little family recruitment can sometimes work out in the hostess’\u00a0 favor. *wink*<\/p>\n

\u00a0 I learned a lot from my 7th grade Home Ec windsock.\u00a0 I bought the girls and their dolls\u00a0pajamas and slippers.<\/p>\n

\"LoraleeLewisSlumberParty4\"\u00a0It was a family affair.<\/p>\n

I made all the paper goods of course. But the collection was extra fun and special\u00a0because it features hand drawn bunny slippers and feathers\u00a0drawn by my\u00a0artist mother, Georgianna’s Nana. \u00a0You can find the whole collection on the website here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nana also made the fabulous bunny slipper cookies!\u00a0I’m not positive because I was running around with my head cut off putting the party together, but I’m sure Aunt Annie and Aunt Tami\u00a0helped.<\/p>\n

\u00a0My favorite cousin Katie helped pick out the fabrics for the event and cheered on Aunt Sherral as she made the spa robes.\u00a0 To be honest,\u00a0Aunt Katie\u00a0may have been the mastermind!<\/p>\n

Aunt Shea Alison made all the mini Donuts in Georgianna’s favorite colors.\u00a0 See photos below!<\/p>\n

Aunt Tami, a certified Esthetician,\u00a0gave the girls pedicures.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0No photos.\u00a0 She’s private like that.<\/p>\n

My trusty assistant Annette, who has been like a grandma to my kids through the years, \u00a0made all the pink popcorn and helped set up everything beautifully!<\/p>\n
