is famously said to indicate something is simple.\u00a0 But elementary is anything but simple for this mother.\u00a0 \u00a0Especially, with three going off to kindergarten this year all togther.\u00a0 Three of my four kiddos left to school this morning to their first day of kindergarten.\u00a0 \u00a0I was <em>completely<\/em> fine until the school\u00a0handed me three packages (one for each child) of disposable\u00a0handkerchiefs.\u00a0 &#8220;<em>For the ride home<\/em>,&#8221; the Kindergarten teacher said.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0I teared up right there in the parking lot.\u00a0\u00a0Boston (my youngest still at home) followed suit.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We recently moved to a new state (did I mention that?).\u00a0 Georgianna came home in April and the four of them have spent all summer running through our field and bonding like she has never been gone from their lives one day.\u00a0 Until today, the four of them have been inseparable &#8211; the best of best friends. \u00a0As I watched my threesome march confidently into school together arm in arm, I was proud of them&#8230;and I was proud of me, because somehow (against the odds) I helped create this beautiful little dream team and for all my faults, at the end of the day, they call me <em>mommy.\u00a0 My whole heart is theirs and I <\/em>get to call them <em>mine<\/em>.\u00a0 This is my family.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Blog to you soon,<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mylivesignature.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"border: 0 !important; background: transparent;\" src=\"http:\/\/signatures.mylivesignature.com\/54489\/84\/CA43CE42B1A78F3D39348BC6A8DE1E18.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8216;Elementary, my dear Watson&#8216;?
