A few months back, I was delighted to be contacted by Vesna\u00a0Vasilevski editor of My Little Jedi Magazine<\/a>. \u00a0She asked to be a contributor\u00a0of My Little Jedi Magazine<\/a>\u00a0Winter Issue!\u00a0 Vesna is probably one of the sweetest women I have worked with.\u00a0 She was fabulous to collaborate with. Around this time, I was also asked to\u00a0style\u00a0\u00a0a wedding shower for not one bride, but two<\/strong>! \u00a0Sisters, Camille and Madeline, were getting married mere days apart. The brides thought a double shower would be brilliant. I had my reservations.<\/p>\n

Working with brides on a regular basis, I know<\/em> brides.\u00a0 I was<\/em> a bride.\u00a0 Brides revel in any (and all) of their pre-wedding limelight.\u00a0 It\u2019s the one day in woman\u2019s life when it\u2019s truly \u201cher day.\u201d \u00a0The whole idea of a double bridal shower bewildered and intrigued me.\u00a0 The challenge would be to create an event where both brides shined individually and each couple was celebrated independently.\u00a0 I would need to hire more staff.<\/p>\n

We got off to a bumpy start. My original theme choice of Bride Wars<\/em> was unfortunately not<\/em> embraced by the client.\u00a0 That being said, my second choice, Two in Love<\/em>, a vintage bicycle-built-for-two inspired theme was. \u00a0Hooray!<\/em><\/strong> \u00a0I wanted the event to take place in The Netherlands, the bicycle capitol of the world.\u00a0\u00a0 The client wanted her guests to be able to attend without the purchase of a plane ticket.\u00a0 Needless to say, the event took place in her home.The rest of the shower came together without a hitch.\u00a0\u00a0 Below is the event I created for Camille and Madeline that was featured in My Little Jedi.<\/p>\n
