So cute.\u00a0 Brittany always does a stellar job.\u00a0 I couldn&#8217;t have been happier.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">2) Not pictured&#8230;is a lot. But one of my favorite details of the event that I was unable to capture for you was the balloon pop.\u00a0 Per Michelle Torsak&#8217;s suggestion, we blew up dozens of balloons and inserted small pieces of paper into each with a prize written on them.\u00a0 Under each guests chair was a small white box with\u00a0a large yellow ribbon on it.\u00a0 Attached was a tag that said, &#8220;Something to Make It Pop!&#8221;\u00a0 Inside\u00a0each small\u00a0box was an oversized pushpin for each guest to pop their balloon with and see what prize they won!\u00a0 Guests loved this little detail.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">3) One of my newest products (that the brides have been going nuts over) are my custom popcorn boxes.\u00a0 You can see them in the above photos.\u00a0\u00a0I have\u00a0to admit it, ladies.\u00a0\u00a0I\u00a0just think they are fabulous! \u00a0For this event, I designed them with yellow stripes and the KSL Logo.\u00a0 For weddings and showers, we have been doing all sort of beautiful soft designs with monograms and wedding dates&#8230; and I won&#8217;t even begin\u00a0to tell you how fun the circus birthday collections are with these. \u00a0Will post photos soon!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">4)\u00a0 Every event has to have a debacle.\u00a0 Mine was the bakery.\u00a0 New to the SLC area, I haven&#8217;t found a bakery that I am well-familiar with yet, but I had heard good things about one and decided to go for it.\u00a0 I had adorned oversized popcorn buckets and asked\u00a0the bakery to create custom cake pops for the event, as well as a few other items.\u00a0 I wanted the cake pops to look like popcorn.\u00a0 When we picked them up, there was nothing I could do but freak out.\u00a0 The cake pops didn&#8217;t look like popcorn.\u00a0 They looked\u00a0 like cauliflower!\u00a0 Also the mini cakes I had ordered that were promised to be 3&#8243;x3&#8243; were actaully 8&#8243;x8&#8243;.\u00a0 Beautifully decorated, but WAY too big for a single serving and not in the shapes instructed.\u00a0 Keep in mind, I had spent over 400 dollars having these items custom created for the event that was in less than 24 hours.\u00a0 After a few tears over the\u00a0 cauliflower and &#8220;mini&#8221; cakes &#8211; like a good hostess, I moved on.\u00a0 My mother &#8220;Martha&#8221; saved the caulifower pops by creating mini popcorn puffs out of mini marshmallows and a little food coloring.\u00a0 She promises me (and you) a how-to shortly.\u00a0 The &#8220;mini&#8221; cakes are still in\u00a0my freezer and will debut themselves in another event, I am sure.\u00a0 Lesson learned:\u00a0Even triple-checking with a bakery, doesn&#8217;t insure proper execution.\u00a0\u00a0Know your baker.\u00a0 I am so happy that I went with several different vendors for the food as if I had solely used this bakery, it would have been a serious problem.\u00a0 I think diversity saved me in this case.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">5) \u00a0I passed on traditional soda bottles and cups.\u00a0 For a fresh look, I opted for tall modern clear glasses and completed the look with a sugar rim and lemon wedge.\u00a0 It popped with my guests.\u00a0 Pun completely intended.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">6) The Menu was fun to create and one of my favorite items of the whole event.\u00a0 I\u00a0went crazy with puns.\u00a0 And you know how I feel about that.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">7) The layered jellos were a hit and simple to make.\u00a0\u00a0I shocked myself by taking photos of the step-by-step to show you.\u00a0 Will post how-to\u00a0soon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">8)\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.grandamerica.com\/dining\/labonnevie\">La Bonne Vie at Grande America<\/a> provided the beautiful (and delicious) French Macarons.\u00a0 They are one of the only places in SLC that offer custom flavored macarons&#8230;and it&#8217;s just kind of fun to go there too!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">A special thanks to my team here at the Studio: Annette, Sandra, Alison, Tami, Katie, Wayne, Annie, and Gary!
