I\u00a0have to confess.\u00a0 I do live a wee bit <\/strong><\/em>vicariously through my clients.\u00a0 Not that\u00a0the Lewis Household isn’t\u00a0all red carpet and jewels.\u00a0 I keep it pretty fabulous over here.\u00a0\u00a0 That being said, you can find an innumerable amount of Cheerios lying\u00a0at the bottom of my\u00a0handbag at any given\u00a0time<\/em>.\u00a0 Case in point:\u00a0\u00a0Yesterday I was taking my\u00a0autumn handbags out of storage for the new season.\u00a0 As I pulled the linen protective bag off of one of my very\u00a0favorites, I opened it up\u00a0to admire it a little more closely.\u00a0 As I unzipped the bag, expecting to only see it’s beautiful\u00a0satin lining, I was greeted with a half-eaten Chicken McNugget that apparently\u00a0had been\u00a0placed inside pre-Spring.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42 \u00a0Ladies, motherhood is the most beautiful thing in the world, but it’s not always pretty.<\/em><\/p>\n

On days when half-eaten chicken nuggets are popping up, it’s refreshing\u00a0for me to hear and work on celebrations going on around the world. \u00a0It always inspires me to throw one of my own and live my own life more glamorously. \u00a0In the case that you may enjoy it as much as I do, I thought I would write a post every once in awhile\u00a0highlighting some of the events my clients are throwing.\u00a0 \u00a0*Some names have been changed and\/or ommitted to keep anonymity of clients as requested.<\/p>\n

\nEvent: Cake Decorating Workshop
\nLocation: Abu Dahbi, United Arab Emirates<\/em><\/p>\n

The upscale bakery,\u00a0Maison Sucre<\/a> located in\u00a0Abu Dahbi, United Arab Emirates recently offered a two-day cake decorating class. \u00a0Ladies, it was fancy. \u00a0Nadine, the owner of Maison Sucre<\/a>, \u00a0contacted me to create \u00a0invitations, announcements, and all the coordinating details for the workshop. \u00a0They ran with a whimsical Alice in Wonderland theme. \u00a0I can’t tell you how much I wish I could have been there! \u00a0I was seriously thinking of just purchasing a ticket to Abu Dahbi (and despite, what you think it had little to do with the shopping I have accomplished there in the past.) \u00a0 As I designed personalized water-bottle labels for each participant (with names I couldn’t even begin to pronounce), I couldn’t help but be thrilled knowing that no matter how far a part we live – women all over the world are intimately the same.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Each participant left not only by being trained by world-famous chefs, but their very own set of cake decorating tools and desserts designed by themselves over the course! \u00a0How fabulous, is that?<\/em> Who wants to buy a ticket with me for next year’s workshop? \u00a0(Ladies, \u00a0I am so serious.\u00a0 You have no idea.) <\/em> Above are some of the delicious treats created at Maison Sucre<\/a> and a snippet of the announcement I designed.<\/p>\n

\nEvent: Re-Hival Return to Earth Dinner<\/em>
\nLocation: Meadow Lane Farms, Ohio<\/em><\/p>\n

This past August,\u00a0 Chef Kimberly McCune was chosen out of\u00a0hundreds of chefs throughout the nation by Emerging Chefs to create an unforgettable event to spotlight her talent. \u00a0With big names like, Martha Stewart Living <\/a>Magazine and The Food Network<\/a> in attendance, this\u00a0200+ dinner\u00a0was no small-town affair.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The daughter of a bee-keeper, Chef McCune created a \u00a0local honey predominant theme for the evening, and everything served was sourced within 50 miles of Meadowlane Farms.\u00a0\u00a0Kimberly is\u00a0possibly\u00a0the sweetest and most humble person I have ever worked with.\u00a0 Which was so refreshing as she works on movie sets with HUGE HUGE names and is shortly going to be seen on The Food Network…and I am a mom with chicken nuggets in her purse. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42 \u00a0I created custom menus, custom honey labels, custom sandwhich\u00a0bags,\u00a0and straws with custom\u00a0pennants for\u00a0her event.\u00a0 Check out the below video to catch the fabulous vibe of the Re-Hival Pasture to Plate Return to Earth Dinner.<\/p>\n

\nWith Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne’s Wedding Renewal\u00a0AND<\/em><\/strong> Shante and Snoop Dogg’s Wedding Renewal AND<\/strong><\/em> Moon Unit Zappa and Matchbox 20 ‘s Paul Ducette\u00a0Wedding under her belt there is little Michele Fox can do wrong in my book. \u00a0So when she contacted me to collaborate with her on a big named “not-to-be-named-daughter’s” Quincea\u00f1era.\u00a0 I\u00a0calmly\u00a0freaked out and then raided the Halloween Candy I hid “for the kids”\u00a0to\u00a0calm my\u00a0nerves. \u00a0I’ll be honest, receiving\u00a0the names on the guestlist didn’t help.\u00a0 I may not have tweens, but I’m not oblivous to young Hollywood.\u00a0\u00a0I know Beliebers<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0This Old Hollywood inspried event, has yet to take place, and I am not giving out any details, but above is a sneak peek (names and dates changed) of the Old Hollywood Invitation suite I created for the event.\u00a0 If I am allowed, more details will come. You know they will.<\/p>\n
