That being said<\/em><\/strong>, I love DIY-ers.\u00a0 I consider myself a DIY-er at heart.\u00a0 Well, maybe more like a DIY-er-ish <\/em>at heart.\u00a0\u00a0 Ladies, I’ll be honest. \u00a0I choose my battles.\u00a0 I may not make\u00a0ALL the\u00a0\u00a0h’orderves from scratch, but I’ll do the main dish and a\u00a0dessert served with a scoop of\u00a0homemade ice cream.\u00a0 It depends on the event, but generally I like to put my heart and soul into two or three things and then let the economy take care of the rest – just so I can look presentable at the\u00a0actual event.\u00a0 I’ve tried to do it all before and it’s always ended badly to be honest.\u00a0 My guests who were at those events and reading this know of what I am talking.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I digress.<\/p>\n

So for all those DIY-ers and DIY-er-ishs at heart out there, I am introducing Freebie Friday.\u00a0 A day where I give a free printable away here on the blog to DIY or DIY-ish.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 And yes, today is Saturday.\u00a0 But there is no better time to start a tradition than the present, right?\u00a0 So here is my very first Freebie Friday… on Saturday.<\/p>\n

This tag I created to attach to a little bowl full of cherries for\u00a0the ladies I\u00a0visit teach.\u00a0 If you don’t know what a visiting teacher is, I tell you about it later.\u00a0 It’s one of the many Mormon things that I do.\u00a0 It’s actually quite lovely.\u00a0\u00a0 You may have something very similar at your church.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Anyway, \u00a0 I purchased the little glass bowls at Walmart for a little over one dollar each.\u00a0 I then placed\u00a0three large\u00a0handfuls of cherries inside the bowl, threw some cellophane wrap over it all, and\u00a0tied it all together\u00a0with\u00a0some ribbon I had in my craft room.\u00a0 It turned out adorable in real life.\u00a0 The photos do not do it justice.\u00a0\u00a0 Oh, if only I were a real photographer.\u00a0\u00a0 You would all be swooning.\u00a0\u00a0 Make your own, leave it on your mother-in-law’s doorstep,\u00a0and watch her swoon over you\u00a0… well, maybe that is\u00a0a step too far.\u00a0 But\u00a0we can all dream, can’t we?\u00a0 \u00a0\ud83d\ude42\u00a0\u00a0 The whole project I estimate cost less than five dollars.\u00a0<\/p>\n
