When you are planning an event, you kind of want\u00a0some WOW-factor.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Let’s just be honest, you\u00a0don’t\u00a0want to go to\u00a0ALL that work and then have the guests go home thinking it was an “okay” affair.<\/p>\n

You want them leaving\u00a0 happy, feeling special, a\u00a0little wow-ed.<\/p>\n

I have learned the hard way that the “wow-factor” comes through the details.<\/p>\n

It’s the small intricate things\u00a0that leave the biggest impressions.<\/p>\n

Don’t get me wrong the house-sized blow up tractor\u00a0is going to get the\u00a0guests excited, but it’s the adorable favor tag that is\u00a0going to leave\u00a0with the guest and the one they may keep in their dresser for a lifetime.<\/p>\n

Why is this?\u00a0 Because it is the details that the regular party-planner forgets.\u00a0\u00a0 It’s\u00a0not hard to remember\u00a0the food, the venue, and the balloons.<\/p>\n

It’s the little sign saying “Welcome to Marilyn’s Shower”, the coordinating napkin rings, and the well-planned favor boxes\u00a0that\u00a0can easily slip our minds.<\/p>\n

I have learned –
\nwhen you remember the details, the guests remember the party.<\/em><\/p>\n

I think this is why I love the little custom straw pennants with striped flags I offer in the store so much.<\/p>\n

They are a detail.<\/em> They’re completely unnecessary.\u00a0 Seemingly insignificant. But the wow-factor they bring to an event is huge!<\/p>\n

…That and they are 100% waterproof.<\/em><\/p>\n
