Daily, my Miss V wraps here little arms around my neck and softly says into my ear,<\/div>\n
“Best friends. We’re best friends, Mommy<\/em>.”<\/div>\n
And we really are.<\/div>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n
I know her every fear, her every tear, and almost every thought.
\nI know her dislikes, her loves,
\nwhat makes her mad and what can brush every worry away.<\/div>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n
But I also know that she is growing up.<\/div>\n
\"\"<\/div>\n
And one day she will be fifteen.<\/div>\n
She will have crushes on boys, expensive cell phone plans, and a high school full of friends.<\/div>\n

And my only prayer is that at fifteen…and sixteen…and thirty one…<\/div>\n
I will still<\/em> know her every fear, every tear, and almost every thought.<\/div>\n

My goal is that then I will have been the kind of mother that<\/div>\n
she will still<\/em> throw her little arms around my neck and softly say,<\/div>\n
