No, no. I didn’t go private.
\nThe past two weeks, we have had an unexpected surprise.<\/div>\n
We have some good and bad news.<\/div>\n
I’ll tell you the good first.<\/div>\n
Do you remember our failed adoption in October?
\nThe little princess we almost got?<\/div>\n
\n
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Well, she flew down to Texas to see us this past week!<\/div>\n
And her birth mommy wants us to adopt her!<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Now for the bad news.
\nAfter several days with us, we had to tear our hearts out of our chests
\nand let her go back to Michigan with her birth mommy due to legal issues.<\/div>\n
\n
<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
The birth father is saying he won’t let us adopt her.<\/div>\n
He says he will fight it…even though he doesn’t want to be a full-time parent.
\nMichigan laws are so tough that it would take a miracle.
\nBut Lee and I have both seen miracles.<\/div>\n

It would be a tough road, if we and birth\u00a0mommy\u00a0go ahead.<\/div>\n
Lee and I are still deciding what to do.
\nIn some ways it’s a dangling impossible possibility.
\nIs this one of God’s miracles waiting to happen?
\nOr is this just a test we are going through to lead us somewhere else?
\nHhhmm… we don’t know.\u00a0 We are waiting, praying and seeing.<\/div>\n
We put our Ethiopia adoption paperwork on hold.<\/div>\n
The only thing for sure is that we loved having her!<\/div>\n
Crossing our fingers and hoping for the best,<\/div>\n
