\"\"<\/a> Lately, whenever I go out people comment on “my glow.” <\/div>\n
It’s been a bit of a shocker to me (especially pre-Project Beautification commencent). <\/div>\n
I’ve been like, “What<\/em>?!” <\/div>\n
But then this weekend a few photos of me were shot and I saw it too! <\/div>\n
I said, “Wow. I’m ..umm,.,,glowing.” <\/div>\n
It took me kind of by surprise, but then I realized what it was<\/strong>. <\/div>\n
It was what I now-call “Newborn Glow<\/em>.” <\/div>\n
It’s the adoptive mother’s equivelant to “the pregnancy glow.” <\/div>\n
See I believe women have the pregnancy glow <\/div>\n
because they know something wonderful is coming soon. <\/div>\n
Adoptive moms don’t have that. Or atleast I don’t. <\/div>\n
Adoptive moms spend the months fretting and worrying if it will ever happen. <\/div>\n
So when it does happen and baby finally does surprisingly arrive, there is such a huge relief and overwhelming sense of peace and completeness that <\/div>\n
no matter how many hours you are not sleeping or how much exercise you miss, <\/div>\n
you are just glowing from the inside out. <\/div>\n
So if you see me around and I’m just shining from my head down to my toes, <\/div>\n
know that I haven’t just overdone the bronzer. <\/div>\n
I just have Newborn Glow<\/em>. And I love it. <\/div>\n
When we start another adoption, it will probably fade <\/div>\n
but with a little luck and Heavenly Father<\/div>\n
