Lee bought <em>me<\/em> season ballet tickets for <em>his<\/em> birthday. (I know. I have superior marital decision-making skills.) Anyway, we had the most lovely time. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The only negative thing was that I ate too much cr\u00e8me br\u00fbl\u00e9e at dinner and made myself sick, but if there has to be a downside to a date &#8211; too much cr\u00e8me br\u00fbl\u00e9e is a great one to have. <span style=\"font-size: 85%;\"><em>(Side note: Cr\u00e8me br\u00fbl\u00e9e has replaced my Key Lime Pie fetish for the time being. I want to learn how to make it. Anyone have a good recipe? Please let me know.)<\/em><\/span> <\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\">I haven&#8217;t been to a ballet for a long time. I think since college actually. The ballet we saw was <em>Mozart&#8217;s Requiem<\/em> and featured all men dancers. It was striking. At first, I was worried that I wouldn&#8217;t be mature enough to handle watching men in tights dance around, but apparently I am no longer thirteen. It truly was fantastic and now I understand why so many people just love the ballet. If you are in the DFW area, buy some season tickets. They are surprisingly affordable. The next ballet is <em>The Nutcracker<\/em> &#8211; definitely a must see. I can&#8217;t wait. <\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\">On Saturday, I hosted a little Harvest Soup Party for some dear friends. Unfortunately, I burnt the soup a few minutes prior to everyone&#8217;s arrival! But no one was unkind enough to say a word about it. Friends really are chicken soup for the soul.
