I’m as giddy as a child on Christmas morning to share our latest family celebration!\u00a0 We had so much fun, ladies.\u00a0 As you know, I do an annual Santa’s Breakfast for family and friends.\u00a0\u00a0I ran with the Reindeer Games <\/em>theme this year!\u00a0 Here’s this year’s party photos!!<\/p>\n

<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"Event Details and Notes;<\/p>\n

1) Due to the large number of people coming this year (every one has had a baby!!!),\u00a0I absolutely refused to cook! \ud83d\ude42\u00a0I know some of the men missed the homemade hot\u00a0pancakes, but they forgave me once they saw the doughnut tower!\u00a0 Men are so easy to please.\u00a0 Maybe that is why I love them so much!I stacked doughnuts one on top of each other to create a\u00a0self-serve doughnut tower.<\/p>\n

2) A hot cocoa bar was a must.\u00a0I placed little dishes filled with peppermint swirl sticks, mini chocolate chips, marshmallows, and cinnamon around for guests to enjoy with their hot cocoa.\u00a0And who doesn’t need a bit of Dasher & Dancer Whipped Cream with their hot cocoa?!?\u00a0 Apparently, not everyone is obsessed with whipped cream as I am, because I had\u00a0a million\u00a0bottles left over.\u00a0 If any one wants one, my fridge is well stocked.<\/p>\n

3) John Christensen, owner of Rhino Design Lab, \u00a0created two of fabulous bundt cake towers. To order one (or two!), feel free to contact him at\u00a0johnchristensen@gmail.com<\/a> In my humble opinion, they made my bundt cakes taste even better! Everyone needs one.\u00a0 I would be lying if I told you that these wouldn’t be featured on every party I do next year.\u00a0So cute<\/em>.<\/p>\n

4)\u00a0Since there is not a snowflake in sight here in Texas (80 degrees today!), \u00a0I placed fake snow all around the table!\u00a0 I thought this was brilliant.\u00a0 Unfortunately, I didn’t think about the wind factor.We had a mini severe winter fakestorm as shown in the above photo, but the kids LOVED it.\u00a0 I think it was worth getting a few plastic snowflakes stuck in my mascara.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/a>5) Keeping with my commitment to keep it no fuss, I served yogurts with coordinating labels.\u00a0 Due to my excellent photo abilities, you can’t read the labels as clearly as I had hoped.\u00a0The fineprint read: Figgy Pudding Co. Serving the North Pole since 1681.\u00a0 Excellent Source of Calcium for Maximum Take Off and Landing. \u00a0The fineprint on the front said 100% non-gravity enhancing.\u00a0 Blitzen Berry was favored over the Vixen Very Vanilla.<\/p>\n

6)\u00a0With a Reindeer Games theme, you have to have some Reindeer Games.\u00a0 We had Reindeer Relays with Reindeer Stick horses made by my mother.\u00a0 To answer your question – yes; she is the Mormon Martha Stewart. I call her Sandra Anderson Living daily.\u00a0 She acts annoyed, but I’m pretty sure she likes it. \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 She is going to die when she reads this.\u00a0 Anyway, are those not\u00a0the cutest\u00a0Reindeer Stick horses\u00a0ever?\u00a0The Reindeer Games competition was fierce. \u00a0These reindeer truly flew.<\/p>\n

7)\u00a0As I handed out reindeer ears for each child, I realized that I am slightly obsessed with\u00a0kids having headwear\u00a0at parties.\u00a0 The antennas and construction hats at the Queen Bee Party, the crowns at the princess pixie party, the hats at the Alice in Wonderland Tea Party, and the Safari\u00a0caps at Boston’s Safari Adventure party…all could have been indicators.\u00a0 But it wasn’t until this party that I realized that\u00a0it may\u00a0 be a pattern.\u00a0 Needless to say, I handed out the reindeer\u00a0ears with gusto and the kids\u00a0looked cute, cute, cute.<\/p>\n

8) Favors: \u00a0One of my favorite clients, Michele Yelton,\u00a0gave me the cutest idea ever for a favor\u00a0– Reindeer Oats!\u00a0I can’t take any credit for this adorable poem.\u00a0\u00a0Michele’s mother used to make these for her girl scout troops years ago.\u00a0 She asked me to make labels for her party this year, and I just\u00a0had<\/em> to copy.\u00a0 I filled containers with glittered oats\u00a0and placed this label on them. I seriously just about died about this poem.\u00a0So fun.<\/em><\/p>\n

9) As is tradition,\u00a0Mr. & Mrs. Claus made their appearance.\u00a0 They were by far the greatest part of the party.\u00a0After each of the kiddies had a turn on the big man’s lap, we had Mrs. Claus read my favorite Christmas book,\u00a0I Believe in Santa Claus by Diane G. Adamson<\/a>, to bring it back to the real reason for the season.<\/p>\n

Overall, it was so much fun!<\/p>\n
